Sakine Kalyoncu Special Education Practice School was opened in 2009 in Üsküdar.
With the awareness that autism is not a disease but a difference, and the culture of celebrating our differences, Kalyon Foundation aims to ensure that children with autism adapt to society and gain acceptance, and to contribute to minimizing the differences between them and their peers. To serve this end, the main building of the Sakine Kalyoncu Special Education Practice School was opened in 2009 in Üsküdar, which currently provides education to 29 children in eight classes.
