iGA Istanbul Airport, the foundation of which was laid on October 7, 2014, with the mission of introducing a new airport to Istanbul, which has hosted numerous civilizations for thousands of years, was successfully completed after a record construction period of 42 months. A team of hundreds of thousands of employees, including architects, engineers, laborers, and construction workers, put in a lot of effort to complete the iGA Istanbul Airport project successfully and provide Turkey with a new "Victory Monument." Having opened on October 29, 2018, iGA Istanbul Airport continues to provide services with its annual capacity of 90 million passengers, its main terminal building measuring 1.4 million meters square, 3 independent runways, a car park with a capacity for 40,000 vehicles, its air traffic control tower and its support facilities.
