Following the completion of the Assos and Troya tunnels on the Ayvacık-Küçükkuyu road, the distance of 12.15 km between the Assos Tunnel and Küçükkuyu has been reduced by 2.52 km to 9.63 km. The divided highway will improve driving comfort and reduce driving time from 50 minutes to 5 minutes. This will prevent the loss of life and property by minimizing accidents, and will contribute to the country's economy by saving 111 million TRY in labor costs and 22 million TRY in fuel costs, adding up to 133 million TRY in total savings.
